Lady Gaga, creative director LaurieAnn Gibson have split
Get ready for a distinct shift in Lady Gaga's sense of style, little monsters. And by that we mean she's going to have to change things up, now that she's fired longtime creative director LaurieAnn Gibson. Finally, those armadillo shoes are out.
MediaTakeOut.com says the pair had a "BITTER FIGHT" (wow, all caps and everything) and have parted ways, which is a shame, considering they've worked together since Gaga was signed by Interscope. Apparently there have been problems since choreographer and creative type Gibson started telling the L.A. Times she deliberately modeled Gaga after Madonna and then got a job on Ryan Seacrest's reality show The Dance Scene on E!.
"LaurieAnn is a bit of a diva, but she had her ego under control -- not anymore," an anonymous source tells MTO. Gaga started thinking about replacing her, which led to a blow-up argument.
"A lot of things were said, and it was very heated. LaurieAnn ended up hanging up (on Gaga) and saying that she was suing."
Suing over what, we're not so sure. Maybe Gaga wasn't being Madonna enough these days.
