Lady Gaga cross-dressing for Vogue in Japan
It's been a couple months since we first saw the debut of Jo Calderone, a male model that looked suspiciously like Lady Gaga in drag on a photo shoot in Japan. Now Jo is on the cover of Japan's Vogue Hommes September issue, and isn't doing much to dispel rumors of Gaga's cross-dressing exploits.
The magazine has two different covers, MTV says, and keeps up the front that Jo is an Italian mechanic and a lover and admirer of Lady Gaga. "He" even says so in an interview for Vogue: "I met her at a shoot (photographer) Nick Knight was doing. She’s f--kin' beautiful, and funny, and interesting. I was a little nervous for Nick to start shooting. She said, 'Don’t be baby, you were born this way.' I took her out after. The rest is private."
Whether Calderone is actually Gaga will have to answered later, when her people surprise us all by stating the obvious. In the meantime, he says he wants his own car shop, so keep an eye out for a line of custom lead sleds from Gaga in the future.
