Lady Gaga postpones four concerts over joint pain
There will be some disappointed little monsters out there this week, because Lady Gaga has postponed shows in Chicago, Detroit, and Hamilton, Ontario. Like some crippling joint pain is a decent excuse for that sort of thing.
"Im so sorry. I barely know what to say. I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened," the singer wrote on her Facebook page Tuesday. "I've been praying it would heal. I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't. ... Im devastated & sad. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and Im sorry."
Her Twitter feed later revealed the cause: "Due to a case of synovitis, (severe inflammation of joints) Gaga’s doctor has ordered her to postpone show in Chicago, Detroit + Hamilton" That's two shows in Chicago, b-dubs. There's obviously no word on makeup dates, but seeing as how she mostly tours year-round at the moment, you'd think she'd be back in town sooner than later.
