Lady Gaga suffers concussion during New Zealand show
It's okay, everyone; you all should know major catastrophe has been averted: Lady Gaga is doing just fine after suffering a concussion onstage in New Zealand Sunday night. The backup dancer who hit her on the head with a pole, however, may want to start looking for a new job.
In the last of three sold-out concerts in Auckland, the dancer got the drop on Gaga while she was singing Judas. She rubbed her head and stumbled a bit, then went off stage for a moment. "I want to apologize," she told the crowd when she returned. "I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don't you worry, I will finish this show." She did, to the tune of 16 more songs. That's way cooler than Justin Bieber's concussion after walking into a glass door in Paris.
her makeup artist, Tara Savelo, affirmed the concussion part, tweeting via @TaraSavelo later, "Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay. She wants u to know she loves u. I'm taking care of her. Can't believe she finished the show." Thank goodness a makeup artist was on the case instead of some stodgy medical professional. Those lashes aren't going to get fuller by themselves.
