Landon Donovan did not father love child, attends ESPYs award show with Bianca Kajlich
For all you Landon Donovan fans (including Mrs. Juice*), you'll be glad to hear not only did the men's national soccer team star win an ESPY Wednesday night for Best Moment in Sports, he's also won a Juice*y for Best Paternity Bullet Dodge. The U.S. soccer star admitted to E! that reports he fathered a love child while playing in the English Premier League are false. His wife is probably glad to hear that.
The Juice* wrote about how it was possible Landon may be getting back together with his formerly estranged spouse, Rules of Engagement actress Bianca Kajlich, after scoring the winning goal in a first-round World Cup match against Algeria last month, earning honors at Wednesday's show. Then British tabloids broke the story he may be a future daddy, which Landon said he'd own up to if true. It's not.
"I actually wasn't sure I was going to asked but I know now that I will not be a dad any time soon, which is good news for me," Donovan said at the ESPN awards show, where he also scored wins for Best Performance Under Pressure and Best MLS Player. "You just broke the story."
It's his first denial of the report, so it must be true. In any case, Bianca attended the ceremony with him, so that speaks volumes. That's okay, Landon, false gossip about your sex life is how you know you've made it to the big time.
