LeAnn Rimes says public spotlight is really harsh
Embattled country singer LeAnn Rimes is finally telling everyone why she was in The Juice* so often for ending up in rehab a month ago. And wouldn't you know it, she's blaming the Internet. We definitely have to tweetblog this one!
"I think it's really hard to deal with Twitter and Facebook and all these social media outlets," she told the Boston Herald. "It's hard to take it day after day of reading and seeing things that someone you don't even know says about you. As much as you said you don't want it to penetrate, it does, because you're human."
Well, we're not the ones who made her cheat on Dean Sheremet with Eddie Cibrian, or get into all those blowup arguments with Twitter followers or whatever. But it's sad to hear she's been in therapy so much -- not that she necessarily sees it that way.
"I've been in therapy my whole life," the 30-year-old said. "I like going. I like being able to have that third-party input and someone to listen that has nothing to do with your life. Everyone has an opinion of how I am and how I should be, and now I'm focusing on how I want to be."
Well, good luck, and just try to stay out of trouble so we don't write any more items about you.
