Lil Wayne busted for 'music contraband' in prison
It was only a matter of time before Lil Wayne slipped up at Rikers Island after pleading guilty to gun charges in October. Guards busted him Monday for possessing contraband, the New York Daily News says. What was it? Weapons? Drugs? Porn? Nah, he had accessories for an MP3 player.
"He was found with a charger for an MP3 player and unauthorized earphones," a source said, noting that they were for another inmate's watch, which doubled as a music player. This "music contraband" was found wrapped in foil and a bag and stuffed in his cell's trash after Weezy was ratted out by a squealer.
Dwayne Carter and the other inmate will be charged for the infraction. Wayne just doesn't have good luck with hiding things from authorities. Maybe he should knock it off.
