Lil Wayne tossed into solitary confinement over MP3 player

Lil Wayne will spend the rest of his jail term in solitary confinement after getting busted with contraband in Rikers Island, the New York Daily News reports. What could have been so terrible that he will spend the next month in The Bing, as it's called? An MP3 player. Hey, Weezy's got to keep his skills up in the pokey.

"He's not in an area where he is mingling with other inmates -- ever," a corrections department source told the tabloid. After being put in the isolation cell on Monday, Dwayne Carter will have to stay there until his release on Nov. 4. Nice to see the wheels of justice turn slowly in the pen, too.
You'll recall this discovery was made back in May, when the rapper was caught with headphones and a charger, while another inmate had the actual MP3 player, all of which is illegal for inmates to have. You never know when someone might use that thing to force another inmate to listen to Ke$ha.
