Lily Allen says using drugs isn't always bad
Lily Allen sure knows how to get herself in the news. When she's not running around topless or getting into drunken bar brawls, the Brit singer is saying outlandish things, like drugs are good for you.
"The only story is that drugs are bad and they will kill you -- you will become a prostitute, a rapist or a dealer. But that's not true," she claims in an interview in Word magazine. "I know lots of people who take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work. But we never hear that side of the story. I wish people wouldn’t sensationalise it. Some people are just bad at taking drugs."
Lily should know, since she admits trying some of the old nose duster (because all her friends were doing it), but she's stopped using drugs. And since she's yapped about how good getting hopped up on goofballs can be, she's since had to release a statement that she "does not condone illegal drug use and has every sympathy with individuals and families whose lives have been blighted by drugs," the U.K.'s Sun reports.
After all this, we just don't have the time or energy to get into how she said she hated Christianity and her record label. We'll get back to you when Juice*heads can name more than two Lily Allen songs.
