Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst will get his own sitcom
Fred Durst is looking to continue a post-Limp Bizkit ascension into pop cultural relevance by getting his own sitcom, it looks like. Well, it's on CBS, but still, he's getting a TV show.
Deadline.com says Durst signed a deal with CBS and CBS TV Studios and will work show with producers Eric and Kim Tannenbaum on a show often referred to as Douchebag. But that's just a working title, really.
Durst has had short stints on Revelations and House, but this will be his first vehicle. The series will be written by Mr. Sunshine's Matthew Carlson, which means it will be on for about six or eight weeks and then disappear.
