Lindsay Lohan begins 35-day house arrest sentence
It's safe to walk the streets of Los Angeles again, because Lindsay Lohan has begun her house arrest. Well, it may not be safe to walk the street she's living on right now, but you get the idea.
The actress arrived at Lynwood jail at 5 a.m. to get fitted with her latest fashion accessory, an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet. She's had one of those before, so that procedure no doubt went smoothly. She then went back to her townhouse in Venice, Calif., for her 35-day stint, Us says. She's actually supposed to serve 120 days, but we highly doubt she'll actually serve 120 days.
LiLo was eligible for house arrest after her no contest plea to stealing that necklace from a jewelry shop because California's prisons and jails are so full, you'd think they were giving away orange jumpsuits. She also must complete 480 hours of community service, which includes being a janitor at a local morgue. And she thought the scene Chateau Marmont was dead.
