Lindsay Lohan has to sit for another deposition
The wheels of justice turn slowly in Hollywood, which is why Lindsay Lohan has to give a deposition in a case from way back in 2007. That's what happens when you chase a guy down the highway in the middle of the night.
The AP says L.A. judge Richard Stone ruled this week Lindsay must answer questions in a civil lawsuit filed by Tracie Rice, the passenger in a car Lohan chased down way back when (you may remember it). Rice is suing for assault, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress; the case is going to trial in July.Lohan was charged with seven misdemeanors stemming from her arrest after the chase and another incident a few months prior.
Rice's attorney, Paul Hoffman, said LiLo needs to answer key questions and tell whether she was remorseful and could affect possible punitive damages. Lohan's attorney, Ed McPherson, said Lohan had already sat for a daylong deposition for the case, and the questions seemed aimed more at embarrassing Lohan in the press than anything else. We can live with that, because if there's one thing we want, it's for Lohan to embarrass herself in the press.
