Lindsay Lohan may give up meat so PETA will pay $10,000 of rehab bill
Lindsay Lohan may have finally gotten an offer she can't refuse -- PETA has said they will pay her $10,000 for her stay at the Betty Ford Center, but only if she agrees to stop eating meat while she's there. And since LiLo is so broke and desperate, she may take them up on it. Besides, you can't really call that cafeteria food meat, anyway.
There is thoughtful consideration about PETA's very generous offer," a source tells RadarOnline. "Lindsay loves animals, and looks at it as a 'win-win' since being a vegetarian is a healthier lifestyle that she is striving for."
Mind you, the stay may cost her about $150,000, so that's a drop in the bucket, but every little bit helps, especially since Lohan has no source of income at the moment.
"Lindsay is making arrangements to make payments to the Betty Ford Center to pay for her bill," the source adds. "Betty Ford does work with patients who have financial problems and are unable to pay the bill in full. ... Lindsay realizes that Betty Ford is giving her an opportunity and essentially taking a chance on her, given her past track record." Besides, she could always work off some of the bill by playing herself in a biopic about it later.
