Lindsay Lohan may have violated probation in missing necklace case
We want to ignore Lindsay Lohan, dear readers, but when something happens that may send her back to jail, we have to relay that information to you. It's our sworn duty as curators of the downfall of society, you know. Anyway, the L.A. County district attorney is getting a case that says Linds stole a necklace, and that could be a violation of her probation. Keep your fingers crossed!
A photograph on X17Online sparked an investigation by the cops, who say a Venice, calif., jewelry store claims Lohan swiped a $2,500 necklace from their store on Jan. 22, TMZ reports. She apparently visits the store a lot, and claimed teh bauble was loaned to her, but her stylist failed to return it on time. "I didn't have any part in the non-returning on time," Lindsay said through sources. Why does that smack of a teenage shoplifter trying to keep her parents from being called?
Anyways, the case against her is described as "strong" and criminal charges are likely. Lohan didn't return the necklace until Wednesday night, just before cops got a warrant to go search her house. How convenient. We'd stay on top of this one, but we're so tired of Lindsay Lohan, you'll have to forgive us if we're a little late.
