Lindsay Lohan says she's too poor for counseling
Lindsay Lohan was in court for a progress hearing on Thursday, telling the judge she was too poor to afford court-ordered psychological counseling because her Screen Actors Guild insurance had lapsed. Maybe she shouldn't have showed up in $1,200 Christian Louboutins, then.
Judge Stephanie Sautner said that while Lohan had been doing her community service and her anti-shoplifting course, she wondered why she hadn't started her counseling, RadarOnline reports. Lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley said LiLo was too poor to afford one-on-one treatment and was afraid to go to group therapy. Oh, we're sure Dr. Drew Pinsky could help her out.
Sautner gave Lohan 21 days to figure it out, and to ask someone to front her a credit card if necessary. She also reiterated that Lindsay only had a year to complete the remaining 447 hours of community service she had to with.
"I'm not going to give her five minutes extra. I don't want to hear 'Oh I couldn't do it because I was on the set of the John Gotti movie,'" Judge Sautner said. But on the plus side, she would then have her SAG insurance reinstated.
