Lindsay Lohan wants Ronson deposition sealed
What's the deal with Lindsay Lohan not wanting to confirm any relationship with Samantha Ronson? It's not like anyone is fooled into thinking they don't at least act like a lesbian couple. But then, swearing to it in court is a little more stressful than an episode of The Insider, we suppose.
It seems Lohan's lawyers filed a motion on Wednesday seeking a judge's order barring filming of her deposition in a case filed by Sam, the AP reports. Ronson is suing her former lawyers for failure to adequately represent her in a case against bloggers, including Perez Hilton, for saying she planted drugs in LiLo's car and was exploiting her for all the paparazzi to see.
Linds also doesn't want transcripts or other accounts of the deposition introduced into public records. The documents state Lohan is afraid videotaping the deposition will "unduly embarrass, oppress and burden her because of the private subject matter of the expected testimony and the virtual certainty that, unless access is significantly limited, the transcript and videotape of the deposition will be illegally exploited by the media." As if she can't do that for herself.
The judge is expected to rule on that in November, but we can save everyone a whole lot of time and say she's just scared she'll have to finally reveal to the world whether she and Sam are dating. At this point, either answer is ho-hum news.
