Lindsay Lohan's probation revoked after new charges
Lindsay Lohan better enjoy that trip to London to chase The Wanted, because a judge on Wednesday revoked her probation in her jewelry theft case. What, just because she's facing three new charges in a separate case? Oh, do go on.
TMZ says Judge Jane Godfrey ruled Lohan's obstruction of justice, false statements and reckless driving charges from her June car accident were enough to yank the actress' probation. Now all that's left is whether or not to lock Lindsay up -- she potentially could spend 245 days, or about eight months in jail. A Jan. 15 hearing was set to decide on the probation violation.
The good news for LiLo is that TMZ says Godfrey isn't a fan of jail, mostly because it's an outdated and pointless punishment. Except for Lindsay, who really should go away for a few months and get her right. At the very least, it would give her good material for another Lifetime movie. You know she could play that role pretty well. Of course, she could probably find a way to screw it up.
