Lynne Spears will exploit Britney in new book
It seems like just yesterday Lynne Spears was putting her book about parenting on hold, just because her daughter Britney was having a mental breakdown and leaving her career in tatters while her younger daughter Jamie Lynn got knocked up. Thank goodness for short attention spans, because now the mom is using her kids yet again to refocus her book and sell even more copies.
The memoir "will get into the dark period of Britney's life -- from a mother's eyes," a rep from publisher Thomas Nelson told Us. "Lynne begins by telling the story of her own family," Curt Harding says. "She's going to go into it."
The book was in the middling stages when Britney went off to the hospital and Jamie Lynn's bundle of joy was announced, but the reworked piece will benefit from the time off, Harding insists.
"I think people will be surprised about who Lynne is," Harding says. "That’s what I’ve gotten from it so far. I think she’s stronger than people give her credit for."
