Madge still matters ... no, really
Madonna isn’t abdicating her throne as the queen of pop just yet. London’s Sun reports Justin Timberlake will be writing tracks for her next album, which is hitting shelves in November. “I have been working on some new music,” JT tells the paper. “But it’s not for myself — I’m writing for other people. I’m working on some stuff for Madonna.” The Sun says Timberlake was seen headed to a West London studio earlier this week (he’s currently touring in the U.K.). The paper says Madge is taking a real Gwen Stefani approach to her next set of tracks, enlisting a rogue’s gallery of top talent to help her be relevant. Among the other names being mentioned: Stefani collaborator Pharrell Williams and Chicago producer Felix Da Housecat. Ironic that Gwen made her solo mark copying Madonna, and now Madonna hopes to copy Gwen, don’t you think?
