Mariah Carey's veterinarian sues for $30,000
Mariah Carey is in the doghouse with a veterinarian who says Mimi owes her nearly $30,000 in bills for the singer's dogs, the AP reports. What do you expect from a woman who obsessively collects Jack Russell terriers and gives them names like Cha-Cha, Dolomite and JJ?
Veterinarian Cindy Bressler sued Carey in a Manhattan state court, saying she provided "extraordinary services" for the trio but only received about $8,200 of the roughly $37,800 in charges. And that's for only about a month of care.
Bressler's lawyer, Michael C. Posner, didn't say what kind of treatment the dogs got, but she makes house calls in the Hamptons and all over New york City. You just know those three mutts, which Mimi is always writing about on her Twitter feed, don't eat whatever's on sale at Publix.
