Matt Damon calls Sarah Palin choice 'terrifying'
Matt Damon, who usually is pretty quiet about most things, must be pretty upset if he's badmouthing Sarah Palin. In an AP interview, the erstwhile Jason Bourne says the prospect of a Palin presidency is "terrifying," while the choice of her as vice-presidential candidate is like "a really bad Disney movie."
"I think there's a really good chance Sarah Palin could become president, and I think that's a really scary thing," he says in the interview (above). "... I think the pick was made for political purposes but in terms of governance it's a disaster."
He goes on to say no one has really thought things through about how she's a heartbeat away from the presidency, despite only being governor of Alaska for less than two years and mayor of a tiny town before that.
"It's like a really bad Disney movie," he said. "The hockey mom, you know, 'Oh, I'm just a hockey mom from Alaska' and she's the president and it's like, she's facing down Vladimir Putin ... It's totally absurd and I don't understand why more people aren't talking about how absurd it is. It's a really terrifying possibility."
He also wants to know if Palin truly believes dinosaurs existed 4,000 years ago since she's "going to have the nuclear codes," but we already know there's no such thing as dinosaurs, since the media made them up.
