Mickey Rourke gets slap for reckless driving
“I did a left U-turn at a red light, but I wasn’t drunk,” Rourke says. He was sentenced to six months’ probation, must pay $1,178.75 in fines and court costs and serve 50 hours of community service, which he can apparently buy off for $10 per hour.
“The only thing he has to do is take an online driving course,” his attorney, Michael Grieco said. None of this means the 55-year-old actor was happy, though.
“I’m friends with most cops in the city and they told me the guy who got me isn’t even liked by his colleagues,” Rourke told the paper. “He’s a 400-pound f—- unfit for duty. I said to him: ‘F—- you, I’m not drunk.’ I guess he didn’t like that.”
And what about the blonde that was on his scooter when he was arrested? “Don’t ask me her name,” Rourke says. “I have no idea who she was. I met her in a bar and never saw her again.” Ah, the glam Tinseltown lifestyle ...
