Mila Kunis defends Justin Timberlake in Russian
A press junket for Friends With Benefits got a little prickly when a Russian reporter got the verbal beatdown from Justin Timberlake's costar Mila Kunis -- in Russian! Oh, you forgot she moved to California from the Ukraine when she was 7, didn't you?
JT was listening to a question through a translator during the tour in Moscow when Mila puffed up and started rattling off a comment in the mother tongue, according to DListed.com. Apparently the reporter asked the dreaded question of why Justin was making movies instead of music, prompting a tongue-lashing from Mila. "'Why movies?' Why not?" she said in Russian, to the delight of the other reporters, who laughed derisively. "What kind of question is that? Why are you here?" Watch it in the video above, which is not translated, but still fun to watch.
Timberlake could do nothing but sit there and look dumbfounded, explaining the translating delay was preventing him from keeping up. Still, he credited Mila with being his bodyguard, which would be way better than ABC bringing back Charlie's Angels.
