Mila Kunis is topless as Esquire's 'Sexiest Woman Alive'
After everyone who isn't a New York Yankees fan scratched their heads and asked "Who?" last year by naming Derek Jeter's ex Minka Kelly their Sexiest Woman Alive, Esquire has gone a little more populist and chosen Mila Kunis. You know, the one from Black Swan who didn't win the Oscar.
Because we cover this every year, here's the obligatory quote from the magazine's interview: "What I do and who I am are two different things. And they always will be," she said. "What happens with people is they lose sight of who they are, and they become either who they want to be or who they are perceived to be. But whatever it is, it is no longer who they are. So much of who you are in this industry is based on what that critic says, what that director says, what that actor says. People start believing all that, and they become what everybody else wants them to be."
And then she poses topless in leather pants on the magazine's cover. Never mind all the stuff about being able to speak Russian and rising from being on That '70s Show to being an Academy Award nominee (although she does mention being unfunny and not liking conservativism). Sexiest Woman Alive is about selling magazines with cheesecake photos, not applying to MENSA.
Here's a video of the shoot, in case you were curious:
