Miley Cyrus accused of battery, has stalker arrested
Miley Cyrus is becoming very familiar with the criminal justice system lately, seeing as how she's been accused of assault and battery and just had an alleged stalker arrested. If only she could shoplift something, we'd win the trifecta in our celebrity self-destruction fantasy league.
First of all, TMZ says Miley is being accused of pushing and hitting some guy in the face after the dude got into an argument with her fiance Liam Hemsworth at a nightclub in the Roosevelt Hotel in L.A. early Sunday morning. Between this and her new hair, she seems to be competing with Pink for bad girl points.
"Miley, her boyfriend and the victim were talking and an argument ensued. Miley pushed the victim and struck the victim in the face," a police officer told the New York Daily News. “There were no visible injuries and no arrests made. The victim came to the station (to file the report). It's an ongoing investigation."
A witness says he didn't see Miley throwing haymakers, and her rep told the site, "This claim is false and erroneous." The alleged victim is sticking to the story at the moment, though, so we'll see what happens.
Meanwhile, a man named Jason Luis Rivera pleaded not guilty to trespassing and resisting arrest after being found in Miley's yard with a pair of scissors, claiming he wanted to meet her. TMZ says his bail was set at $100,000 and he was ordered to stay at least 500 yards from Cyrus and her property. He's due back in court on Sept. 17. MIley is due back on The Juice* in 48 hours or less.
