Miley Cyrus gets racy in new video for 'Can't Be Tamed'
The InTArWebz is all atwitter after the release of Miley Cyrus' latest video, Can't Be Tamed, with a lot of people getting up in arms because it's a bit on the provocative side. Why? It's just a 17-year-old wearing a black bodice singing about how wild and crazy she is so guys better hold on for their lives (watch it above). Ah, they grow up so fast.
"The video isn't about being sexy or about who can wear less clothes. It's about explaining the song and living the lyrics," she told E! Online (indeed, her short-shorts from Party in the U.S.A. are way more controversial). She also wears a $25,000 silver-scale corset designed by The Blonds and a metal dress adorned with peacock feathers. "I don't want to be in a cage. I want to be free and do what I love."
It's the title track for her new album, which comes out on June 22. Cyrus has said she's taking a break from videos after this to concentrate on acting, conveniently as her new flick The Last Song hits the big screen. We think she should take a break from videos until she turns 18, when goopy eye makeup and bird-cage fetishes are a little more acceptable.
