Miley Cyrus (sorta) turns 16 at Disneyland
The ubiquitous Disney star, who doesn't even turn 16 until Nov. 23, shut down Disneyland in Anaheim on Sunday (until after darkl West Coast time) to celebrate the occasion with 5,000 of her closet, ticket-holding, merchandise-buying friends, the AP reports. Those would $250 tickets, too.
"Miley is really hard to surprise," pops Billy Ray said. He led the festivities by singing some of his songs, including Achy Breaky Heart, which is the only one we know anyway. Then it was Miley's turn, belting out four songs before fireworks.
And while a lot of the guests were normal joes with too much petty cash for such shenanigans, celebs like David Archuleta, Jennie Garth, Steve Carell, Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks and Jennifer Love Hewitt roamed the crowds. But what did Miley get for her non-birthday?
"My parents shut down Disneyland for me, so I'm good for a while," she said. Until Nov. 23, when Billy Ray darn well better have that Lamborghini waiting.
