Tbdcrue062007 Here’s a group you don’t hear about every day: Motley Crue has filed a $20-million lawsuit accused manager Carl Stubner of “extortionist tactics” and poor career guidance, AFP reports.

Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee also say two reality shows drummer Lee got caught up in — Tommy Lee Goes to College and Rock Star: Supernova — portrayed the drummer in an unflattering light, which you would think wouldn’t be too hard to do.

Scheduling conflicts concocted by Stubner for his financial gain kept Lee from touring with the band, causing cancellations and $8-million in lost ticket and merchandising revenue, the suit claims.

We’d think Neil’s turn on The Surreal Life would have caused more problems, but we’re not legal experts.
