Singer Ne-Yo is a daddy again, this time getting that baby boy he wanted. And like all the kids these days, he announced it on Twitter, actually making The Juice* pretty superfluous to the whole process. But hey, thanks for reading!

"Sal-u twit fam. If you are truly fam you'll help me welcome the heir to my throne, born OCT.9TH at 6 pounds, 10 ounces! Mason Evan Smith!" he wrote via @NeYoCompound on Friday after fiancee Monyetta Shaw gave birth Sunday. 

Shaw and Ne-Yo (nee Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr.) have a daughter, Madilyn Grace Smith, who was born last November. The singer previously thought he had a son named Chimere with a girlfriend in 2005, but he turned out to not be the daddy. This good news, at least, should distract him from Lindsay Lohan's stupid lawsuit for name-checking her in Give Me Everything with Pitbull and Afrojack.
