Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte will be on '90210'
Olympic gold medalist swimmer and University of Florida alum Ryan Lochte may have his sights set on reality TV, but his first TV gig will be on the CW's 90210. Good thing he's playing himself; no acting lessons or anything!
"When we found out Ryan Lochte was going to be in town and might appear on 90210, we felt like we'd won a gold medal!" the show's executive producers Patti Carr and Lara Olsen told the Hollywood Reporter in a statement. "Team USA are all-stars in our book, and we're so excited he's making an appearance on the show. We only wish the episode was a surf event so we could have gotten him in the water, but he deserves a little rest on dry land."
Lochte will be at a resort where AnnaLynne McCord's Naomi and Josh Zuckerman's Max will be staying to work on their relationship. Staying at the same place a champion swimmer planning to be on Dancing With the Stars and The Bachelor (as Lochte has admitted) isn't really going to help things.
