Oprah Winfrey wants O.J. Simpson to confess on her show
Oprah Winfrey has big plans to keep her career going, now that her syndicated talk show has left the airwaves. What, running her own network and starting the new Oprah's Next Chapter show isn't enough to keep her busy?
"I have a dream of O.J. Simpson confessing to me," she said while speaking at the National Cable and Telecommunications Association gathering in Chicago this week. "And I am going to make that happen people. I don't just want the interview. I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson."
That's a pretty ambitious goal for the show, which launches in January. The Hollywood Reporter says she also wants to get child killer Susan Smith to do an interview, as well, which must mean Oprah's Next Chapter is going to have a darker tone than O's last series.
