Paris getting special treatment? Nooooo
Want to hear the latest on Paris Hilton? Apparently the families of other prisoners at Twin Towers Correctional Facility are angry that the hotel heirhead’s parents were allowed to sail through the visiting process to see their precious baby while other had to wait up to four hours or more, the AP reports.
“I have to be at work later,” said Alvina Floyd, who was visiting her fiance and felt she had to wait while the Hiltons were yapping. “I can’t wait here all day.”
Shatani Alverson said she was hustled out of the jail’s visiting room moments after her husband walked in because of the Hiltons. She was told to come back after lunch. Officials said that was normal practice for high-profile inmates.
And speaking of special treatment, Mary Tiedeman, who regularly visits the jails as a monitor for the ACLU, said the area where Hilton was being housed was usually reserved for high-security inmates or those worse off than Hilton has appeared.
“I don’t know what her health issue is, but you have got to have a pretty intense medical or mental health problem to be in that part of the jail,” she said. We’re betting on a mental health problem.
