Paris Hilton was kicked out of Japan for her drug offenses
We continue to break our ban on Paris Hilton, but this time it's to cackle about her getting a smidge of comeuppance, not to tell you she dodged jail time once again. It seems she missed out on a fashion show in Tokyo Wednesday because the country barred her from entering Tuesday. It seems she had some pesky drug conviction or something.
Hilton was detained and questioned for about six hours, with officialls finally teling her she had to head back to L.A. and couldn't promote her fashion and fragrance lines, the AP reports. Understandably upset, she took to her Twitter account, @ParisHilton, to say "About to take off. Going home now. So dissappointed to miss my fans in Asia. I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love Paris xoxo"
It'll be hard for her to come back when laws preventing drug offenders from visiting have kept the likes of Paul McCartney and soccer legend Diego Maradona out of the land of the rising sun. Special permission is sometimes granted, but even the status-conscious Japanese may not be so forgiving to a cokehead like Paris. Either way, all she got was a long flight back to California.
