Patrick Dempsey saves trapped teen in car crash
Patrick Dempsey may play a world-class neurosurgeon on Grey's Anatomy, but he gave notice he's willing to play firefighters and rescue workers after saving a teenager trapped in a wrecked car this week. And his hair even stayed in place, we're sure.
A young motorist lost control of his Mustang around 5 p.m. Tuesday in Malibu, Calif., near Dempsey's house. The kid totaled the ride, flipping it several times and ending up in McDreamy's front yard, TMZ reports. Unfazed, the actor rushed out the front door with a crowbar and apparently got the kid out with no major incident. Given his proclivity toward auto racing, he probably knows a thing or two about escaping wrecked cars.
The site says the boy had a concussion, but other than that, 911 responders couldn't find much else wrong with him. Well, his insurance rate is going to be jacked for life, but he'll probably take that over a casket.
