Paula Abdul wants a baby
Child-protection authorities worldwide raised their threat-level status to "orange" with Paula Abdul's announcement that she's ready to produce offspring. "That's the next step in my life," the 45-year-old American Idol judge told USA Today. "Definitely within the next two years. I thought by now I'd have three grown children." (Quick question for USA Today: Are you sure she said "grown children?" Are you sure she didn't say "grandchildren?" Just checking.) Abdul's been dating restaurateur J.T. Torregiani, 32. "With modern medicine, people are having kids in their 40s and even up until their late 40s," she said. "In their 50s, they're having their second child. If it doesn't happen naturally like that, I would always consider adopting." And with that, the nations of Malawi, Ethiopia and Cambodia closed their borders to Americans forever.
