People are going to see Katie Holmes after all
Rumors that Katie Holmes' Broadway debut in the revival of All My Sons is box-office death were put to rest when the producers said they've already sold $3.5 million worth of tickets. Take that, Cats.
The show, which opens Sept. 18, may rival the Daniel Radcliffe vehicle Equus in terms of popularity for a play that's not a musical, Variety says. All My Sons also stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson.
We'd be curious to know if producer Eric Falkenstein's numbers are accurate. And even if they are, who's to say Tom Cruise isn't just buying out every showing so he can sit in the theater all alone, shouting "Dance, my monkeys! Dance!"
