Perez Hilton claims he was attacked by Black Eyed Peas manager over will.i.am remark

Tbd-perezhilton062309 In case any of you actually cared about Perez Hilton, he's all sniffly and mad after Black Eyed Peas tour manager Polo Molina allegedly punched the blogger outside a Toronto nightclub late Sunday. Just because Perez called will.i.am a faggot? Jeez, why'd he get so mad about that?

Molina was charged with assault after Hilton (nee Mario Lavandeira) got into a verbal throwdown with will.i.am and Fergie at Cobra after the MuchMusic Video Awards, the AP reports. The musician apparently told Perez not to write about the Peas anymore, sparking the confrontation.

"He was like, 'You need to respect me.' He was in my face. He was obviously trying to intimidate me and scare me," Hilton, like, said. "I was like, 'I don't need to respect you. I don't respect you and I did say this, and I knew that it would be the worst thing I could possibly say to him because he was acting the way he was. I said 'You know what, I don't respect you and you're gay and stop being such a faggot.'"

Mr. i.am. said in a video on DipDive.com that he was called a faggot after trying to respectfully ask Perez to mind his own damn business. Perez says he then left the club (he wants you to know he was there with Lady Gaga, btw) and was attacked from behind.

Molina turned himself in and has been charged with assaulting Hilton, Toronto Police Constable Tony Vella said. Molina is due in court Aug. 5.

Hilton says he called the cops, who weren't responding, so he took to Twitter (@PerezHilton) and wrote at 4 a.m., "I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke." Toronto cops were then apparently flooded by calls from mindless sheep who do whatever Perez tells them.

He also posted a photo that shows him teary-eyed with a tiny cut on his cheek, plus a bunch of smeared pink face paint he wore to the awards show. He continually tweeted that he wasn't going to post any more about the attack, then proceeded to spend all of Monday tweeting about it, including a note that "the law says that words are NEVER provocation for a physical attack. Never. That is the law."

Yes, but calling out a musician about his sexuality and then wandering away without expecting some kind of retaliation? Plain dumb.
