Pittsburgh man tries to carjack cop, says it's part of 'Dark Knight Rises'
A Pittsburgh man tried carjacking a plainclothes cop over the weekend, but explained it away by saying it was part of the script of the new Batman movie, which is filming in the city. Great, could you give a spoiler alert next time, please?
Detective Robert DiGiacomo was sitting in an unmarked car at 7:15 p.m. Saturday during an investigation when 21-year-old Micah Calamosca got in and told DiGiacomo to get out, the AP reports. The officer pulled out his gun and told Calamosca he's the one who needed to get out, because he was under arrest. Calamosca reasoned it was a misunderstanding, because stealing the car was part of the script for The Dark Knight Rises.
He was arrested and charged with robbery of a motor vehicle. He's already guilty of being dumb enough to think a cop would fall for his excuse.
