The Police are terrible, drummer says
The Police’s Stewart Copeland savages his boys Sting and Andy Summers in a review the drummer posted on his own Web site, saying the singer jumps like a “petulant pansy” and the guitarist “is in Idaho” in terms of timing.
Reuters points out Copeland was unhappy with the group’s performance in Vancouver last Wednesday, calling “unbelievably lame.” He laments: “We are the mighty Police and we are totally at sea.”
But unlike the fistfights of old, the group can now laugh off poor performances. “Screw it, it’s only music. What are you gonna do?” Copeland writes. “But maybe it’s time to get out of Vancouver.” Such a sign of maturity!
