Police chiefs implicated in break-in plan against surrogate for Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker
Two Ohio community police chiefs are under investigation for allegedly orchestrating a plan to break into the home of the surrogate mother for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick in order to get information for tabloids, TMZ reports. Curses, they've foiled The Juice* again!
The site says Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter and Bridgeport Police Dept. Chief Chad DoJack allegedly were planning to break into the surrogates home to steal voice mails from Parker.
"I'm 100 percent innocent in this and my department is, as well," Carpenter told local TV. A police source told TMZ that they have hard evidence to prove the chiefs were in on the plot. The investigation will take two or three weeks to complete.
"Matthew and Sarah Jessica have complete faith in the legal system. But because it's a criminal investigation -- we will not be making any more comment," Matthew Broderick's rep Simon Halls said in a statement. "What I can say is the entire family looks forward to the healthy delivery of their daughters later on this summer."
This is just further proof that our obsession with celebrity culture has gone too far. That's why you should read The Juice* every day, where all our news is obtained legally -- even if we can't afford the latest bikini photos from Splash News.
