It’ll be good to see Princess Leia again: Carrie Fisher is joined by Matthew Modine in taking roles on Showtime’s Weeds, the Hollywood Reporter says. Not only that, but Zooey Deschanel, who played Justin Kirk’s ex-girlfriend Kat last season, will be back for the third season. While Carrie will guest star as Elizabeth Perkins’ divorce lawyer, Modine has a 10-episode deal to play a real-estate developer who gets it on with both Perkins and Mary-Louis Parker. That’s fine as long as Fisher stays away from Kevin Nealon.
