R. Kelly: I'm not interested in 'anyone illegal'

Tbdrkelly091908 R. Kelly gave his first interview since being acquitted of child pornography charges, telling BET news he "don't like anyone illegal." How comforting.

The singer said when the verdict in his trial came down, he was "very prayerful" about the outcome. "I couldn't describe it and I wouldn't wish it on -- if I had a worst enemy, which I don't." Except, of course, whomever could provide a birth certificate for the alleged 13-year-old girl in that videotape (who didn't testify, if you'll recall.

The main event, of course, was when he was asked if he liked teenage girls, replying: "When you say teenage, how - how old are we talkin' ... 19? I have some 19-year-old friends. But I don't like anybody illegal, if that's what we're talking about, underage."

The man is 40 years old. Why is he meeting up with teen-aged anybody? You know he's not on the PTA or anything.
