Randy Quaid arrested for skipping out on hotel bill

Randy Quaid may not have been able to pony up $10,000 for a hotel bill, but he and his wife Evi sure could come up with $20,000 each for bail money after they got arrested. What, do they work for the State of Florida?

The Quaids were arrested Thursday in Marfa, Texas, after a felony warrant was issued for burglary, defrauding an innkeeper in Santa Barabara, Calif., where the couple had apparently skipped out on a hotel bill, the AP reports. Another source told RadarOnline that couple skipped out on a $17,000 bill to the Hotel Bel-Air, and were holding onto a vehicle reported missing by Hertz Rent-A-Car.

A deputy for the Presidio County Sherrif's office spotted the couple tooling around in Marfa, location of movies like There Will Be Blood and No Country for Old Men, to give you an idea of the layout. Evi "resisted a little bit" but "calmed down quickly," a sheriff said. Sure she did, after realizing they could easily skip out on trial after being released, too.
