Real Housewives of N.J.: Danielle Staub may be fired, Teresa Giudice had $60,000 shopping spree
Drama mama Danielle Staub may have been fired from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but that doesn't mean she cares. After all, she's got a sex tape to sell and a tell-all book to write!
A source told Life & Style that "Danielle was told that she would not be returning for a third season," but Bravo refused to comment on any casting decisions. We don't know if we can call that being fired, as she's apparently working on a spin-off show of her own. Wow, fabulous.
Meanwhile, the 48-year-old told Us that she's not concerned at all: "Actually, I'm not even thinking about season 3 right now as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me," she said. "Don't worry, next year, I'll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love." We already know what we're choosing.
Meanwhile, the New York Post says co-star Teresa Giudice celebrated a bankruptcy filing by going on a $60,000 shopping spree just before filing for protection, court documents show. The truth came to light as she and husband Joe tried to convince a federal judge to stop an Aug. 22 auction of their Towaco, N.J., home's contents.
"These were not Ikea-purchased furniture items," judge Morris Stern said, incredibly postponing the auction until Oct. 3. "These were from high-end design stores." That's kind of hard to defend when you owe creditors $11 million and swear you're broke.
