Rebecca Romijn opens up about pregnancy
Rebecca Romijn puts the kibosh on those rumors that her divorce from John Stamos was over her inability to have kids in the upcoming edition of Page Six Magazine. That's good, since she's pregnant with Jerry O'Connell's twin girls.
"There is absolutely no truth to that," Romijn says. "That was completely made up. I desperately wanted kids. I was never a girl who dreamed about what her wedding day would be like, but I’ve always dreamed about decorating my baby’s nursery."
But at what price? At what price?
"I can’t move anymore … I’m a beached whale!" she says. "I have not been without a bra this entire pregnancy. I refuse. I’m not taking any chances. I’m determined to keep the puppies up!"
That's great news in case she decides to reprise her role as Mystique in an X-Men followup. Also good is that she still conceived, despite eschewing Clomid a year a go because it was "crazy-making." And the even better news is that Jerry has all the trappings of a great dad.
"I knew early on he would be a fantastic dad," she gushes. "He’s a pragmatic, smart, savvy, enthusiastic person. He really lives his life with tremendous integrity, and he’s a healthy person in every single way."
Take that, Johnny.
