Rich guys offer Chris Brown, Drake $1 million apiece for boxing match
A crafty boxing promoter and a billionaire have come up with an ideal way for Chris Brown and Drake to hammer out any personal problems they might have: Take it into the squared circle for a charity fight. That's such a good idea, there's no way it will ever happen.
Celebrity Boxing promoter Damon Feldman and soda bottling heir Alki David have offered Breezy and Drizzy $1 million apiece, plus another million to charity if they put on the gloves and duke it out, the New York Daily News says. And to think, they threw down at W.i.P. nightclub for free!
"Obviously they have a grudge. It's just three 1-minute rounds. No one will get seriously hurt," Feldman told the paper. Aw, what fun is that? To make up for it, he said he'd like Rihanna to be the ring girl. That would assure some between-rounds action, but we doubt it would happen.
Feldman said he's aiming for an Aug. 25 fight date in Las Vegas or L.A., but hasn't heard back from either camp. Brown's rep already denied even getting an offer. Well duh, P.R. dude, what do you think all these gossip outlets writing about it are? Have your people call Celebrity Boxing's people and let's get this done. We can't handle Screech and Horschack fighting again. Just be sure and warn Tony Parker about it this time.
