Rick Ross crashes car into apartment building after being shot at
Florida's own rapper Rick Ross crashed his Roll Royce into an apartment building in Fort Lauderdale early Monday after an unknown assailant shot at him, the Chicago Tribune reports. Because if there's one media outlet that understands gun violence, it's the Chicago Tribune.
The paper says police ID'd William L. Roberts (Rick's real name), 37, and Shateria L. Moragne-El, 28, as two residents of Davie involved in the shooting, but they weren't injured. "An unknown vehicle shot a couple of rounds," Fort Lauderdale Police Detective DeAnna Garcia said. "The (Rolls Royce) was not struck."
It did strike an apartment building, however, after Ross crashed through some landscaping and smacked into the structure while fleeing the bullets. Monday was his birthday, too. Those probably aren't the kind of birthday shots he wanted.
