Rupert Murdoch bashes Scientology on Twitter
Katie Holmes is getting a strange ally in these confusing times: News Corp. mastermind Rupert Murdoch. We'd say he's doing it to sell papers, but who buys those anymore?
"Scientology back in news. Very weird cult, but big, big money involved with Tom Cruise either number two or three in hiearchy," he tweeted via @rupertmurdoch on Sunday. This is already after he had suggested on Twitter that Mitt Romney needs to hire some campaign hit men to work over President Obama if he wants to win. We don't know who we'd be more worried about offending. Just kidding -- it's the Scientologists.
"Watch Katie Holmes and Scientology story develop. Something creepy, maybe even evil, about these people," he added. Hoo boy. Then later, "Since Scientology tweet hundreds of attacks. Expect they will increase and get worse and maybe threatening. Still stick to my story."
Story? What story? That Scientologists are creepy and evil? We bet he's never even been to Clearwater. Wait, this doesn't have anything to do with the new trailer for Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master, does it? Because you can watch that above if it does.
