Russell Brand doesn't want Katy Perry's millions
Despite not having a prenuptial agreement, it seems Russell Brand won't be demanding the $20 million or so of Katy Perry's money he's entitled to, the rumor mill says. Somewhere, a high-powered divorce attorney is weeping quietly.
Brand's lawyer filed papers Tuesday, and despite the fact that everything the coouple earned during their 14-month marriage is supposed to be split 50-50, Russell won't be asking for anything, TMZ says. Forbes reported that she made about $44 million during their marriage, far more than he did, but no, he just want to end this starter marriage and get it over with.
There's a six-month waiting period before the divorce is official, so we'll dredge this back up around June 30. If only so many celeb splits were this amicable -- well, The Juice* would be out of business, really, along with all the bloodsucking lawyers.
