For a few hours there, we thought Russell Brand croaked thanks to Global Associated News who wrote a story saying the actor died after he lost control of his snowboard and hit a tree, E! reports. We're thinking they probably have a pretty big law suit on their hands.

On Saturday, Brand turned to Twitter to straighten all this out. "Bloody hell. I better cancel the milk," @rustyrockets tweeted. Okay, whatever that means.

Apparently the Global Associated News gets off on posting news stories about celebrities in snowboard accidents because just last month they wrote a story about Brad Pitt dying that way. And we wonder why people are losing faith in the media...
